Makeup and beauty hauls – September 2018!

One of my favorite posts to write. Showing you whats new to my collection and what you can expect seeing some reviews of in the future.

I have been picking up a few new bits and pieces but I think I managed to not go overboard, so I am quite happy!

These Hourglass powders I both ordered in August, but you know, international shipping knows how to take it’s time. But this travel size Hourglass Bronzer and the Hourglass Blush in “Ethereal Glow” finally arrived. I got mine from Cultbeauty. And do you know that they have travel size blushes there too? I think it’s such a great thing to be able to pick up a travel size of a blush for much cheaper. I never go through blushers anyway!

More stuff from Cultbeauty, and more mini’s! Again, being able to pick up a smaller size for much less money is so great! Here is Becca Highlighter in Champagne Pop. I now finally have this iconic product.

The lashes are Huda Beauty lashes in Carmen #9. It took me a while to get use to Huda lashes due to their thick lash-band, but now that I am I really like them.

This palette I just stumbled over on Instagram. I’d never seen it or heard of the palette before, and since it was reasonably priced I decided to pick it up and give it a go. The GLF Cosmetics Princesa Azteca Palette really has both a large selection of neutrals and colors and I am a fan of the selection. Did not get the chance to play with it yet, but eventually I will have a makeup look post and a review post of this. Just be patient, I got a big pile of stuff to review and too little time!

I also needed some basics! The OGX Hair Butter sounded interesting and I always need something to give moisture to my ends. Never tried this, but I have tried some shampoo and conditioners from the brand and have been overall happy with them.

The Human+Kind Shower Mousse Bodywash “Grapefruit Delight” I picked up because it smells divine and I can always use a nice body wash.

I am slowly running out of cleansing balm, and since it takes a while to get here through mail (I usually use K-Beauty cleansers and they are not sold in store in my country) so I picked up the Nivea Eye Makeup Remover in case I run out before the next one arrive. It’s cheap, that’s mainly why I picked it.

IMG_20180918_102907_777.jpg

I did not stop picking up some essentials there. I also got e refill of the St.Moriz Fast Self Tanning Foam. I am running low on my other one. Not sure how long I will bother to try maintaining a tan. After all I love north of the wall and don’t really need to be tanned in winter.

The Simple Foaming Cleanser was something I picked up because I have just a few uses left of my current one. Never tried this, and it was so cheap my hopes are not all that high. But hey, if it’s good I did find a nice affordable cleanser so always worth a try!

XHC Revitalising Coconut Water Shampoo and Conditioner was also a necessary refill. I am running low on shampoo and conditioner so new ones are necessary. These smell like coconut, which I like if it’s a good coconut scent, but hate if it’s too sweet or synthetic. I will have to get back to you on how I feel about this.

KMS Add Volume Hairs Spray is a sample I decided to try. I don’t always get overly excited about hair styling so I love being able to try a sample before buying the real deal. I find it to be such a struggle to try to get through hair styling I don’t like.

The same goes for Tony&Guy Casual Sculpting Powder. I am hoping this will be something to help me if my hair is to flat or greasy. Sort of like a texturing dry shampoo.

IMG_20180923_185651_752.jpg

I was very much fond of the MorpheMe brush bundle this month. I really like Morphes Y-series, and I always need more eyeshadow brushes. One can never have too many blending brushes in my opinion.

IMG_20180923_185734_738.jpg

Finally, after a long time, my Makeup Revolution parcel arrived. I ordered this in June, but it was returned and they had to send it back. International shipping back and forth does take time, but finally the Soph x Revolution Extra Spice palette found its way home to me together with the lipsticks “Cake” and “Syrup”, two very pretty nudes!

IMG_20180923_185333_176.jpg

These three items were sent to me for free from Tambeauty. the reason was that when they tried to resend my order with the Soph x Revolution Extra Spice palette, one of the other items I ordered, a setting spray, was suddenly not legal to send due to new regulations. So they put some extra stuff in my package. The Palette is Obsessions Love Every Shade Eyeshadow Palette, and then I got a Obsessions Liquid Illuminator in the shade “S&X” which looks really pretty, and a Obsessions Lip Effects Gloss. Excited to try these things since the brand is new to me.

IMG_20181004_154832_437.jpg

And finally, no month is complete without a Colourpop purchase! I picked up the gorgeous fall palette Good Sport, and the Super Shock Highlighter Palette “Crush On You”. Colourpop always has something new and I really try to keep up at least with their eyeshadow palettes. Their are challenging me for sure, but I love collecting their eyeshadows. They are affordable and one of my favorite formulas. What’s not to love!

Did you pick up anything fun this month?

Liveglam KissMe Liquid Lipstick Subscription – September 2018!

IMG_20180920_124454_152.jpg

I was so happy to see that this months lipstick bundle was all nudes! I know thet the KissMe liquid lipticks are really great as nudes so I had high hopes for this months bundle. And I was not disappointed!

IMG_20180918_103410_453.jpg

There are two liquid lipsticks and one gloss this month. They all have the usual packaging with 2 ml in each tube with deliciously scented lip products.

Lets talk shades shall we? I want to begin with my very favorite of the bunch!

IMG_20180920_124512_881.jpg

Celebri-tea is a gorgeous mauve nude. I knew instantly that this would be one of my favorites. I love shades that are nude but still has some darkness to them. On me this is exactly that shade. As usual the KissMe formula works very well with nudes and this stayed in place for 6 hours. I find that this usually is the limit for me with these lipsticks. They may still look nice, but at this point my lips have had enough and I feel like adding some lip balm on top, and with that elongating the wear time to around 8 hours. They don’t feel drying in my opinion, but after a certain amount of hours I feel like adding some lipbalm to every dry-down formula. In other words I am very happy with longevity on this one and the color is stunning. In this months trio this will for sure be my go-to shade!

IMG_20180920_131436_596.jpg

Nudi-tea is the second liquid lipstick this month. As you can probably tell this is very light. Right now I have a bit of a tan, but it match my skin tone quite good. That means I find it to be a bit pale for me right now, but I will give it another try this winter to see if it match my winter skin any better. I did how ever love the look of it with Hot-tea on top because it makes it a bit darker and I get a nice glossy nude lip. I’ve worn it several times this way and I really like the looks of it! On it’s own this lippie looked good for around four hours. After that I found that it faded a long the inner rim of my lips, and since my natural lip color is quite a bit darker it was not hard to tell. These lipsticks can easily be reapplied without looking goopy or crumbling apart so no bigger deal than to just reapply. But for sure this one did not have the same longevity as Celebre-tea. Still decent though!

IMG_20180920_124532_723.jpg

Hot-tea is this months gloss. A nice brown gloss with medium opacity. It feels comfortable on the lip. Not sticky, but it’s not as liquidy that it dissappears too fast. It last around 1-2 hours on me depending on if I was drinking, eating or just nothing. Decent quality gloss, but since these tubes only hold 2 ml I find that you will go through them quite quickly if you use them often. No bug deal though, if you have a lipstick subscription you probably have more than just one anyway, and it’s better for them to be small than to get to old and have to be thrown out.

IMG_20180918_103344_462.jpg

Overall I am very happy. Nudi-tea could have been a dark er nude and it would have been even better, but I love this look of Nudi-tea and Hot-tea combined so actually all of the lippie was a hit for me this month.

IMG_20180920_123931_270.jpg

As usual the formula is really good. I’ve had some trouble with their darker shades, but the nudes I am usually very fond of. I won’t mind seeing more all nude bundles like this in the future!

Smashbox The Cali Contour – Review!

I am all for this palette, and if you read my August Favorites you already know that. But let me break down to you why I like this palette so much!

Face palettes are something I am kind of drawn too since I don’t really have that many of them. Besides they are really handy. So when I see a palette where I think most of the shades will fit, then I get very tempted, and with this palette the temptation was too high. It also helped a lot that I have become a bigger and bigger fan of Smashbox lately. I am not a big fan of their eyeshadow formula,

IMG_20180712_193115_638.jpg

So why is this good then? Well, two thing. The one is (for me) the shades. I do think if you are light to medium you should too. If you are very fair or more in the darker range of medium then I am sure there are better options for you. But for me it’s perfect because I do get use out of every single color.

The second thing is composition. Because this face palette really got what I need. There is this matte highlighter shades that work great for setting my concealer or just lighten up areas of my face without the glow. If I do want the glow, I got one option that will work all year round, and another option that looks great when I have that summer tan going on.

I then have a nice warm bronzer to bronze up my face, and a cool-toned contour shades to deepen the shades under my cheekbones or do a nose contour. To finish it all off there is a really nice warm blush that goes very well together with the rest of this palette. This palette has all you need for a sun kissed look in one handy palette.

IMG_20180712_193056_584.jpg

The quality of both the palette itself (packaging that means) and the powders are overall very good. The palette it quite heavy considering it’s so compact, but it does have a decent sized mirror. It also feels sturdy and nice. I have traveled a bit with it and it seems to be handle that well, not that I throw my bags around that much though. With 20.56 g of product (that seems like a random number) there is a decent amount of product , and I like that the shimery highlighters are smaller than the other products that you most likely use more. I mean who pans highlighters? (You got my full respect).

IMG_20180830_141442_416.jpg

The matte highlighter and the blush are working perfectly. I have nothing bad to say about them. The bronzer and contour are also really really nice, but they are quite pigmented. I personally prefer bornzers and contours that are a bit on the lesser pigmented side. I mean I want them to be good quality, but I prefer a more buildable one. Not to say these are bad at all, I just have to use a bit of a lighter hand and make sure I blend. With that said they blend very easy.

The highlighters are maybe the least impressive powders in this palette. They work fine enough. They are not glittery or patchy, the colors work nice for me and all that. They are just a bit subtle. For this to be the perfect palette I would have liked them to be a bit more intense. They do give a nice subtle glow though, so if you like that then awesome, but I chose to use these as a base, and then throw a little bit of something extra glowy right in the center.

IMG_20180712_193134_448.jpg

Overall I am very very happy with it. Especially since all the shades worked so nicely on my skin tone. It’s not really that often I find a palette where everything fits. Even though I would have preferred the two highlighter shades in the middle to be slightly more intense I am loving this palette over all!

If you have a similar skin tone as me this is for sure worth an extra look!

Trash Talk….Meaning lets go through my beauty empties!

It’s time to talk about trash again. And this time we got a nice variety of different products. Spot anything you’ve tried yourself?

IMG_20180815_125353_403.jpg

There is actually a product from my project pan in this empties post as well. It is always good to be able to include those, because that could only mean my project is going great? It is doing good. The only thing I struggle with is that demonic blush that refuse to show signs of wear. Anyways, that’s for my next project pan update. Today it’s all about what is already empty.

IMG_20180815_125422_999.jpg

Let’s start with a matching pair.

#92 OGX Nourishing Coconut Milk Conditioner: I do feel like this is nourishing. It’s also a quite pleasant coconut fragrance since it ‘s not too overwhelming or artificial. This is not the conditioner I use when I want volume because it’s a bit heavy on my hair, but does really gives a lot of moisture. It also makes my hair smooth ans shiny.

#93 OGX Nourishing Coconut Milk  Shampoo: Same story as with the conditioner. I think this is the thoird time I buy these. This time it was only travel size bottles but the previous times it’s been full size (which are huge!). So I don’t mind repurchasing these I just need a break between because I get a bit tired of the coconut scent. That’s always the case for me and coconut scents so it’s nothing wrong with the scent really.

IMG_20180815_125513_129.jpg

#94 Yves Rocher Mango Coriander Energizing Bath & Shower Gel: This smells like a super delicious smoothie. The scent is absolutely lovely and perfect for summer. I really enjoyed this and would be happy to pick up another one. I will for sure do that on my next Yves Rocher order.

#95 Tolymoly Lip Balm: Super cute packaging. The product itself was just Vaseline with a bad taste to it. Won’t repurchase but my niece will get this to play with because she lovers these kind of things (she’s 4). So at least there is that.

IMG_20180815_125450_638.jpg

#96 Kiko Matte Fusion Pressed Powder: This powder was OK. It looked good on the skin, and set my makeup nicely without looking cakey, but it did not mattify despite it’s name. Actually I found my skin to be more shiny than normal just around one hour after application, so if you are looking for a mattifying powder this is not it.

#97 L’Oreal Glam Beige Healthy Glow Foundation: This was the one from my project pan I mentioned above. It is a light coverage foundation with a dewy natural finish. Good for summer, but I found that it does not last that well on my skin, so I won’t repurchase. I think. It’s not bad either and you never know hat might happen during a sale…..just saying.

IMG_20180815_125539_225.jpg

#98 Bastiste Dry Shampoo Original (Mini): I picked this up because I needed one for travel. This really does not last more than one trip. I got four uses out of it. Batiste is my go-to dry shampoo, but I prefer the brunette version because I don’t have to worry about white cast.

#99 Duo Adhesive Lash Glue: I am maybe the only one who still like this? It seems like everyone used this some years ago, but now so many has moved on to something else? I like it though, and will repurchase.

So, next time I do an empties post I will reach empty number 100! That’s exciting. Do you keep track of how many empties you go through? This is the first year I o it but I think it is kind of interesting to see how much I really go through

Makeup Hauls of July 2018 – What Did I get?

I got a lot! Much of it was ordered in the month of June, it just takes forever in shipping to get here. But I haven’t been completely innocent in July either, so I have drawer full of goodies I need to test out and review for you. And I am so excited because I really believe I picked up a few gems here and there. So let’s get to it!

IMG_20180707_174207_602.jpg

First some skincare items from The Ordinary. I become more and more a fan of this brand the more I try it. Good quality skincare for a wallet friendly price. I picked up the Lactic Acid 10% + HA because I already tried this, enjoyed it, and needed a repurchase because I am almost out. I am also always in need of a good skin moisturizer and decided Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA cream would be suitable to test out. I also picked up two of the Caffeine Solution 5 % + EGCG eye serum. One to keep in my bathroom for my bedtime routine, and one to keep at work for my morning routine (I run to work every morning and get ready there). Finally I also got the Hyaluronic Acid 2% + BA as a hydrating booster. Always feels good to stock up on some skincare!

IMG_20180707_174246_707.jpg

All these goodies are from BeautyBay. You probably know by now that I collect the Juvia’s Place eyeshadow palettes and I would like to keep them all one day. I am slowly working my way to my goal and I usually pick up one palette each month lately. This month I got the Saharan, and looks how pretty it is! I picked up the two shades from the Jeffree Star Summer collection that tempted me the most namely “Cherry Wet” and “Coral Fixation”. The MakeupGeek single shadows are “Cocoa Bear” and “Flamethrower”. I love MakeupGeek shadows and like to pick up a shade here and there-

IMG_20180707_174408_092.jpg

These Milani Rose Powder Blushes has been around forever, and have probably been on my wish list for just as long. Finally I got around to it. This is the shade “Coral Cove”.

IMG_20180707_174312_828.jpg

This Becca Gradient Sunlit Bronzer in the shade “Sunrise Wave” I’ve heard so many good things about. And I do love a glowy bronzer so I decided to give this a go. Besides I want to try more Becca products after falling in love with their Apres Skis Face Palette. So I am happy to add this to my collection!

IMG_20180801_202108_457.jpg

For the first time ever I decided to dive into Violet Voss eyeshadows with the Hashtag palette. So many pretty colors, so I can’t wait!

IMG_20180707_163641_026.jpg

I am also a big fan of Zoeva and I think the brand is so under rated. I promised myself to pick up more of their face trios because the two I already have are very good. So this small pencil brush and the Sweet Glamour Blush Palette are now a part of my collection.

IMG_20180707_163502_004.jpg

Speaking of Jeffree Star, I also got the Blood Sugar Palette (finally!). Look at all the pretty reds! And the packaging is so retro cool!

IMG_20180707_163617_754.jpg

And since I was already on the Zoeva website it didn’t hurt to pick up the Artisto Eyeshadow Palette and Artisto Blush Palette. I think these look so stunning, and the Zoeva palettes are so slim and handy to collect!

IMG_20180710_181433_154.jpg

Jeffree Star Velour Liquid Lipstick have been my favorite liquid lipstick formula for lipstick that dry down completely ever since I picked up my first one around a year ago. I wanted to pick up some of his classic nude shades for everyday wear and got “Celebrity Skin” and “Androgyny”.

IMG_20180712_193016_112.jpg

I also added some more Smashbox items to my collection. This brand is really growing on me. From having just a few products from the brand a while ago I have now tried quite a few different things that I really like. I had to get one of the rose highlighters from the Smashbox X Vlada collection. I had my eye on the gold one by this was the only one I could find in store where I live. So the “Prismatic Petal” it is! Very beautiful looking indeed!

I also love love love the Smashbox Always On Liquid Lipsticks. They are a serious competitor to the JS ones! So I picked up another shade called “Bawse”. A beautiful red!

The Smashbox Cali Contour was also too pretty to pass on. It looks really good for my skin tone because I think I will get use out of every shade in this palette. And I quite like face palettes now (I didn’t use to before) but I don’t have too many so it actually feels good to get some more face palette options.

IMG_20180712_193155_126.jpg

God some essential items too!

The BOMB Cosmetics Strawberry Fields Body Polish I picked up because I had a body scrub from them in another scent that I really really enjoyed! So I was tempted to pick up some more products from them and ended up with this. Would you like to read a review about them?

The Dove Go Fresh Deodorant and Batiste Dry Shampoo Tropical are just standard items. We all need deodorants and dry shampoo right?

IMG_20180712_193234_881.jpg

One of my favorites things I picked up this month! The Jeffree Star Thirsty palette. Did not have any time to play with this yet, but I did some swathes and those shades in the middle row swatch incredible. Can’t wait to wear them! Also, does not this palette just scream summer?

IMG_20180801_201002_600.jpg

I didn’t need any more blushes, especially since I am working and working on hitting pan on one that is never ending. But Tarte had free international shipping and I am weak. Still very happy to add “Blush Bliss Blush Palette” to my collection. Love Tarte blushes anyways!

IMG_20180801_201736_338.jpg

As usual I added the Liveglam Kiss Me Liquid Lipsticks for July t my collection. I already have a review out if you want to have a read.

IMG_20180801_201919_799.jpg

No month without a Colourpop order right? But who doesn’t love cheap and good. I got the Sol and Mar eyeshadow palettes from their summer collection, together with all the three Ultra Blotted Lips “Vitamin C”, “Soda Pop” and “Ocean Ave”. The blotted lipstick formula is one of my favorites from Colourpop! They looks so flattering and very wearable.

IMG_20180801_202012_898.jpg

Also the MorpheMe Brush Subscription arrived, but I exchanged one of the brushed for an eye brush. They send out waaaaay to many contour brushes, and I never use those, but luckily you can exchange them.

I also got the MAC Extra Dimension Skinfinish in “Whisper of Gilt” and  MAC Mineralize Skinfinish in “Nuanced”. To me MAC will always be this classic iconic brand and I am always happy to collect more of their pieces.

IMG_20180801_201844_937.jpg

I did not get all these MAC eyeshadows, but I finally got around to pick up the extra empty palettes and inserts to start organizing and build up my collection a bit. I used to just keep them in two full palettes without inserts but now they are more sorted and looks more tidy. I am thinking about just picking up a new shade here and there and in the end have 60 single pan shades. A bit to go still.

IMG_20180801_202205_545.jpg

I liked the first Milani Powder Blush so much that I picked up another shade. This time  in “Blossomtime Rose”. They are just soo pretty!

And Nabla Cosmetics is a band I really really like., so when they came out with cream highlighter and blush in a stick form I had to pick them up. Perfect for summer! The shades are “Surreal” and “Maybe Baby”.

IMG_20180801_202229_922.jpg

The Dose of Colors Matte Liquid Lipsticks are in the shade “Stone” and “Talk is Chic”. I only had one of their lipsticks form before “Berry Me 2” but I wanted to test out the formula properly.

The Makeupgeek eyeshadows are “Jester” and “Wistera”. Again, I am always happy to add some more single pans form Makeupgeek to my collection because they are still some of my favorites!

IMG_20180801_202032_540.jpg

The only thing I have ever tried form Inglot is their single pan shadows, but the packaging and colors of the Inglot X Jennifer Lopez collection sucked me in. So two lipstick shades in the colors “Hibiscus” and “Besame”, and the Illuminator Face Eyes Body in “Livin The Highlight” (Yes, I got a loose powder highlight!)

DSC_1048.JPG

Then I walked by a L’Oreal sale and this happened! I never intended to pick up the Cherry My Cheri palette, but the discount was very favorable. the Back To Bronze I’ve heard so many good things about, and I swatched the La Vie En Glow highlighter palette and found that the first shade was unique enough to my collection to pick it up. Also I always need a mascara and picked the “Volume Million Lashes”, unfortunately I came home only to discover that it was brown, and you are not allowed to return opened makeup here so I guess I am stuck with eyelashes aka 90’s style for a while. Well, at least I have been there before! It was all at a good discount so I got a lot for my money anyway.

DSC_0986.JPG

It was not the only things I picked up from L’Oreal. I snagged thid Life’s A Peach Highlighter and I have been loving it! I also got the Glow Mon Amour Liquid Highlighter. The Lipstick is from H&M own makeup line in the shade “Cream Chestnut”. These lipsticks are so underrated!

IMG_20180715_145952_423.jpg

My final purchases made was these splurge items! The hourglass Strobe Lighting Powder in “Brilliant Strobe Light”, and Charlotte Tilbury Flawless Filter. I better be glowing after this (and I am, they are both tested and loved!).

As you can tell my test out drawer is now filled up, and I have so so much to test, try, play with and review. Luckily I will have plenty of time to do so in August, and I am excited to share some looks and reviews of these things sometime soon!

Did you pick up anything fun in July? Any purchase plant for August?

My Holy Grail Body Lotion – Haus of Gloi Pumpkin Butters!

If you have been reading my blog a bit you have definitely seen these little jars of body butter pop up here and there. Especially in my empties post. I tend to go through these like crazy. I figured they deserved their very own post.

I discovered this brand back in 2011 i think. I don#t remember how I found them, but I had a thing for indie skincare and soaps and all that stuff, and Haus of Gloi intrigued me and I picked up a few of their product like their bubbly scrub, skin emulsion and pumpkin butters.

IMG_20180710_182103_431.jpg

I remember one of the scents I picked out on my first order was “Satyr” a rich, sweet blood orange and vanilla scent. That scent has stayed with me all these years ever since. I don’t use it every day, but I make sure to ALWAYS have one Satyr standing ready in my bathroom shelve. Right now it stands there together with around 20 other scents.

As you probably know by now, the Pumpkin Butters are a big big hit. And for good reason! The scent put a side for a while, the product itself is just as wonderful as the fragrances. It is something between a thick body butter and a lotion. Not as dense as say The Body Shop body butters, but much richer than your average lotion. It gives plenty of moisture that I feel lasts for a long time. Some thinner lotions I feel almost disappear into my skin, but these Pumpkin butters leave my skin feeling moisturized! They also sink into the skin without feeling tacking or leaving any kind of residue on the skin. It feels like a luxury product but the prize is only 10$.

IMG_20180710_182237_489.jpg

They also come in two different sizes. One 2 Oz container if you want to test out a fragrance, or a 6 Oz one if you want the full size. The small size will last me around 5 full applications, so it is a nice size to test out. They come in a small plastic jar. Nothing fancy about the jar. The printed labels used to be very detailed and beautiful with a pattern that would match the scent description but for some reason the design has changed. I am a bit bummed about that because the new design, although clean and simple looking, makes them less unique and more cheap looking. I wish the old labels with designs good as art would come back.

Their selection of fragrance is also a whole other level. First, their scents are so unique that you won’t find anything like that in this price class. They smell like they are a well composed selection of proper fragrance and not just those synthetic cheap scents you often find. Those cheap synthetic scents can also be good, but you know, this is just next level. Not only do they feel luxurious, they smell expensive as well!

Off Course every scent is not for every one but their selection is so large I am absolutely sure you can find something to suit your taste. And if you are not into scents they do have a scent free version as well.

IMG_20180710_182133_365.jpg

They do have a fun way of releasing scents. All year round you can order from their general catalogue which holds a nice selection of scents avaliable all year round, like my beloved Satyr scent! They also do release seasonal scents which is so much fun. Over the years I have learned what scents to expect in their different releases so it has become something to look forward to. To get excited about ordering “Insalata Nocturna” and “Zazz” in summer, and look forward to smell “Apple Milk” and “Ghost Puffs” again in fall. The only sad thing is that their seasonal scents seem to sell out so so quickly and I can’t always get a hold of the scents I want. And then there is a whole year of waiting. Luckily they have a lot of delicious smelling stuff in their general catalogue, and they always have some exciting seasonal releases as well.

They do smell fairly strong and the scent lingers on your skin for hours and hours. That means they can be hard to wear together with your regular perfumes, but no need to worry, they have perfume oils and hair oils matching the pumpkin butter scents if you need to wear perfume in addition.

If you are looking for another body lotion to try you should have a look at the Haus Of Gloi website to see if you find a scent you may like, because I am absolutely sure you will love these!

Just another empties post!

My pile of empties creates a constant source of material for these posts. And I am always behind. But they are fun to make, and seemingly fun to read for many of you. So here goes another one!

I got some doubles here, and then a bit of everything. Some good, some bad, some makeup, some hair care and some of my highly appreciated Haus Of Gloi Pumpkin Butters off course!

Let’s start with the doubles!

#77 Dove Summer Revived Body Lotion With Self-Tanner: This was a mistake. I did not realize it was a gradual tanner. And I picked up 4 of them at once. To bad the actual tanner is horrid. If used several days in a row you build up a completely orange tan, that does not sit very well. So it is rubbed off partially on leaving me both orange and patchy. What a joy!

Luckily the tanner is very gradual so if used only once or twice a week it does not matter. Still, will not repurchase.

#78 Dove Summer Revived Body Lotion With Self-Tanner – With soft shimmer: This is the same as above, only worse because it is shimmery. Not buying again for sure.

#79 Redken Frizz Dismiss Smooth Force Lightweight Smooth Lotion Spray: This is a holy grail product that I use every day and I have been for years. Keeps the frizz away and makes my hair nice and smooth and shiny without making it feel heavy. This is just a staple in my everyday routine. Will repurchase this over and over again!

#80 Redken Frizz Dismiss Smooth Force Lightweight Smooth Lotion Spray: Still a favorite!

#81 Haus Of Gloi Pumpkin Butter – Imp: My always much loved pumpkin butters! I will never stop using these either. They are and always will be highly treasured. This scent is very sweet and citrusy, almost like candy. It is a bit too much on the candy-like side. I do like it though, it is just not my favorite and Haus Of Gloi has such an incredible large range of scents that I only need to repurchase those I truly love and still have my bathroom shelves filled. I may pick up this scent in the future, but there is no rush. I have plenty I like a bit more.

#82 Haus Of Gloi Pumpkin Butter – Blood Orange Marshmellow: Sweet, heavy, delicious scent. To me this is perfect when  I crave something sweet in winter. I have backups of this already.

# 83 Adopt Eu De Perfume – Aquatique: This was in my project pan, and I had about 20 % left when I dropped it on the floor and broke it! It was a simple aqua scent. Very uncomplicated, and even though it was smellt good it was a bit too simple for my taste. Mote of a lightweight teenager scent I would say. I at least would have adored this as a teenager. It did not last very well on my skin either. A few hours and I could not smell it any more. I will not but it again.

#84 – L’Oreal Mega Volume Miss Baby Roll Mascara: There is nothing mega about the volume this gives. On me they gave very natural lashes. Did not give much length or volume at all, and did not really separate the lashes. They quickly became like short spider legs if I tried to build it up. Worked best for me with just one of two light coats, but it completely lacked that wow factor. Will not but again.

#85 L’Oreal Brow Artist Xpert Brow Pencil: This one I quite like. It has one of those bigger square pencil shapes and filling in goes very fast. It is a bit unprecise so maybe not the best choice if you want something to make hairlike strokes with, but just for filling in the brows it works great.

Did you finish something fun lately?

XOXO
