Project Pan 2019 – Introduction!

I am so exited about this project! Since I had some fun with my 2018 project pan I figured I wanted to go on another year. I have been thinking since October what I want to add to the project, and I think I got a decent bunch of stuff! The one thing I did not add was a blush! I tried so hard on my 2018 project pan blush and I didn’t even hit pan on it. So right now I feel like I need to rotate and enjoy the blushes I have instead of keep focusing on one. So for this year, no blush. But I got a whole bunch of other stuff, so check it out!

This is a mixture of pefumed body creams, body sprays and stick perfumes!

  • YSL Mon Paris Perfumed Body Lotion – This was a free gift I got with a purchase and I never really used it since I don’t have the perfume. Now it’s time to finish it.
  • Georgi Armani Si perfumed Body Lotion – Got this together with a bottle of the perfume. I really like it but I always forget to use perfumed body lotions like this.
  • YSL Black Opium – Same as with Si, got this together with a bottle of the perfume and will try to use them together.
  • Bella Lucce Arabian Odysse Linen & Body Mist – Smells wonderful of sandalwood and gives a nice cozy atmosphere. Like to use this as a boy spray or room spray.
  • Bella Lucce Japanese Yuzu Linen and Body Mist – Smells fresh of citrus and cranberry. I want to finish this one as well as the other one because the brand is discontinued.
  • LUSH Gorilla Perfume Stick Vanillary – Nice vanilla scent, and I have it as a perfume spray as well, but I never remember to use these sticks so I want to finish this so I only have the spray left.
  • LUSH Gorilla Perfume Karma – This is my all time favorite LUSH perfume but it’s the same as with the other one. I have the spray and never use the stick so now I want to finish it.

  • Bella Lucce Africvan Adventures Watermelon Baobab and Banana Contitioning Mask.
  • Bella Lucce Peruvian Cocoa Azul Renewing Mask.

I love these two masks from Bella Lucce. They are powders that you mix with milk, water or juice depending on your skin type. They work wonders as well, but the brand is as mentioned discontinued (it makes me so sad!) so I want to phase out all of my Bella Lucce products since I can’t get them anyway. I would love to see this brand do a comeback, they had so many lovely products that I will miss. These masks are among them but they are starting to get old and I need to use them.

  • Skinfood Strawberry Exfoliating Mask – I had this for ever and it’s not much left. I just forgot about it for a long long time, and I just added it to the project to remember to finish the last bit. Smells exactly like strawberry jam!
  • Origins Ginzing Refreshing  Face Mask – Also a mask that is getting old. I didn’t love it but I liked to use it from time to time in the mornings. I have probably 1/4 left and it’s time to end it.
  • Haus Of Gloi Hair Oil “Imp” – I have plenty of hair oils from Haus Of gloi and I really love them (No joke I have like 10 bottles), but I don’t see myself picking up this exact scent again so I will try to finish it. It’s really nice to use just after the shower or a few drops in the ends before going to bed.
  • The Body Shop Ethiopian Honey Deep Nourishing Face Mask – After discovering hydrating sheet masks this one got a bit lost in my collection. It’s good but right now I just prefer a quick and easy sheet mask for hydration. I will use the half that is left though.

And now over to makeup! These are the BB Creams and Foundations I will finish.

  • A’Pieu Natural BB Cream Matt Finish – I have had this for a while but it’d been a while since I used it. I wanted to add this to the project because I wanted to get to know the product properly and then deciding if I need a new one or if I will just pass.
  • Holika Holika Petit BB Cream Moisturizing – I had 4 different versions of the Holika Holika BB Creams.
  • Milani Conceal + Perfect 3-in-1 Foundation + Concealer– To be honest I haven’t used this in maybe a year or so and I don’t remember what I think about it. It’s getting a bit old so I firgured I would finish it and then decide if it’s worthy a repurchase.
  • Coloupop No Filter Foundation – I know that this is not worthy a repurchase. On the other side it’s not so bad that I won’t be able to use it up. So I aim to do that just to get it out of my collection.
  • Tonymoly Luminous Goddess Aura BB Cream – This is a nice, natural but radiant bb cream that is nice and fresh for every day. Big bonus is that it has 37 SPF which means it will be a good choice when the sun comes back and I need some protection. This one also looks nice on the skin. I have only used it a few times so it’s almost full.

Out of all of these foundations I think only the Holika Holika one is the only one I’ve actually used quite a bit. The rest are moderately to lightly used and I guess there is around 3 full bottles here altogether. Excited to see if I actually go through that much in a year.

My concealer choices are as follow:

  • NYX HD Studio Photogenic Concealer – This one I like, but I don’t love it. It gets the job done but it’s no match to the ones I really love. That’s why I would like to just finish this and be done with it.
  • Maybelline Fit Me Concealer – It took me a while to start really enjoying this. I am around halfway through and I just recently realized that I actually like this enough to repurchase.
  • Smashbox Studio Skin 24 hours Waterproof Concealer – This one I feel the same about as the NYX concealer. I like it but I don’t love it. Unless something change I just see myself using this up and be done with it.
  • Maybelline Anti-Age Eye Eraser Concealer – A lot of people really love this. I was sceptical in the beginning, but now I am convinced. I will pick this one up again when I am done, but I just feel like it’s getting old and would benefit from just being used up.
  • Wet N Wild Photofocus Concealer – This one does not really impress me that much. It does not have great coverage, and it’s a bit indifferent to be honest. I have less than 25% less so now I am doing my final effort to be done with it!

And these are all the lippies I will focus on. Last year I had 4 lip products. Now I am increasing the effort with a total of 8 lip products. I am not sure if that will work because I only finished a few months before time in 2018, but on the other hand there are many glosses which I find easier to go through than regular lipsticks.

  • MAC Plushglass Lip Gloss – This one I also lost the shade name of, but it’s more of a purple gloss. These all came it a set a long time ago.
  • MAC Plushglass Lip Gloss – Shade name is worn of my it’s a nice pink.
  • MAC Plushglass Lip Gloss “Fashion Fanatic” – The only one that still has a name! A lighter pink gloss.
  • H&M Sheer Lipstick “Arabesque” – These lipsticks are fantastic if you want something sheer and easy to wear. Perfect for every day. I love this lippie and I am happy to have this in my project to have something I truly enjoy.
  • Isadora Jelly Kiss Lipstick “Bare Bliss” – Old fave that is maybe getting too old so it”s time to use it up.
  • Clinique Long Lasting GlossWear “Black Honey” – A gloss stick in one end and a liquid gloss in the other. Both in the iconic shade Black Honey. It can be a challenge since this one has product in both ends. I am afraid I may get a little bored by this shade.
  • Too Faced Mood Swing Emotionally Activated Lip Gloss – Big tube with more than 2/3 left. I bet it will take a bit of time to get through it. But this used to be one of my favorite glosses a few years back! It’s getting a bit old now, so I think I need to finish it.
  • Estee Lauder High Gloss “Pearl” – This is old. I don’t even know if I should say how old! This is just not my favorite shade. It’s a bit too light for me, but I am hoping to make it work over a lipstick or something.

This year I only picked one bronzer, since I did not manage my goal with two last year. If I manage to finish this I may pick up that Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Bronzer again to finally hit pan, but this one is almost brand new! This is Kiko Flawless Fusion Powder Bronzer.

Since I only had one gigantic powder last year, I am ready to finish and replace some more this year. I tend to go through powders in about 3 months so this should be more than possible.

  • Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Finish Skin Perfecting Micro-Powder – This one is already half done. I really really like this powder. It’s so finely milled and feels like silk! Will for sure replace this when it’s gone.
  • Lancôme Poudre Majeure Excellence– This is also a nice finely milled powder. For some reason I don’t tend to reach for it. Nothing wrong with it, but I just figured I might as well end it.
  • Dior Diorskin Nude Natural Glow Fresh Powder – This loose powder is amazing and looks so flawless on the skin! I had it for some years so I can just use it up, but I will pick up a new one.
  • Hope Girl Powder Compact – This is again a nice powder I just don’t reach for. Mostly because that plastic protection lid annoys me a bit, and I don’t see the point of it when it’s a pressed powder.

This year I decided to add a highlighter instead of a blush! This is Colourpop Super Shock Highlighter in Lunch Money. Obviously I already hit pan, so my goal is to finish it completely. I think the super shock highlighters are pretty easy to pan, at least much easier than a regular powder highlight. The good thing about this is that it’s so subtle that I can use this as a base, and put another highlighter on top in case I want to get some use out of the rest of my collection.

This Zoeva Brow Spectrum has been my go-to brow powders for all of last year. Still no pan in any of the shades, but they do show some considerable wear. My goal is to hit pan on three of the shades! I don’t think that will be a problem since I love this palette and reach for it all the time. This is the ultimate brow powders with all the options you need, and some brow bone highlighters in addition!

And now over to the really fun part, eyeshadow palettes! I picked out seven palettes this year so I am not intending on panning them completely, I just want to hit one shade in each palette. I have a lot of amazing palettes to play with so I am excited!

Colourpop Fame I picked out because I wanted to have a nice cool toned palettes. I really like wearing cool toned eyeshadows during the dark season. Last year my cool toned palette was Zoeva En Taupe which I really like, but this year I decided to get some use out of this beauty from Colourpop.

This is such a classic! The Lorac Pro Palette. Do you remember when everyone wanted this? To be fair almost everyone owned this. This was “the perfect neutral palettes” when the Urband Decay Naked hype had cooled off. I agree it does have everything you need, and I do thing the composition is better than in UD Naked. As you may see, I already do have a pan in this palette, and it is well loved. My goal is to reach one more pan.

This one will be a challenge! The Morphe X Jaclynn Hill palette will be a challenge. I have used this a bit, and the eyeshadows don’t seem particularly easy to pan in contrast to Lorac and Colourpop, but I thing that since this is such a versatile palette I will get good use out of it, and hopefully hit pan in one shade. Either way, this palette really should be used some more.

I had to have a Zoeva palette this year as well. Now I decided to hit pan in Zoeva Blanc Fusion. This palette is great for everyday neutral looks and I love the quality of it. The mattes are nice and those golds are like butter! This have barely been used so I am happy to blow some dust from it this year.

The gorgeous Anastasia Soft Glam also had to join the panning party! Adding an Anastasia palette to a project pan is like doing yourself a big favor. They are very easy to pan. This just happen to be one of my very favorite Anastasia palettes so it felt natural to add this to the project. It does already show some wear but my guess is that I will have to use this for 4-6 weeks more before hitting any pan. So I probably have plenty of days to play with this!

I tried to not pick more than one palette from each brand for this project. It felt natural to add a Tarte palette since I have a few of them and they are fairly easy to pan as well. Since I decided do add so many palettes I think it is necessary that I have palettes that are easy to pan. A Urband Decay Naked palette or a colourful Juvia’s Place palette would be too hard I think. But the Tarte formula is quite soft so you go through them quickly. This is Tarte Tartelette Toasted by the way. The neutrals are so gorgeous in this, and I love the metallic shades!

Lastly I needed a fun colorful palette to play with, and the natural choice was September Rose Slush palette. When I first got this I had so much fun playing around with it, and it has so many yummy shades! Can’t wait to play around with this and create spring looks, sunset looks, rainbow looks and other colorful fun things!

And that’s all! I may add some stuff if I feel like it, but at least with eyeshadows and lip products I feel like I have more than enough to work with!

Do you have a project pan for 2019? What are your goals?

Remember I do also exist on Instagram!

Project Pan 2018 – Round Up!

2018 is over and so is my year long project pan. Don’t worry, I had so much fun panning that I will continue with another project in 2019, but it’s time to do a summary of my 2018 project to see how it went and what goals I managed to reach, and also which ones I failed. This project was my first ever proper project pan, so I feel like I gained some experience on how to do a year long project. So I feel better prepared for my 2019 project. You can read the introduction of the project here if you know all the products I started out with.

I did reach all my goals on finishing foundations, BB Creams and powders. The last face base product I finished was this History of Woo Jewel Loose Powder. I really enjoyed the product, but the container is HUGE with 28 grams that lasted me almost a full year! I will not buy it again just for the bulky packaging. but the powder itself is really nice if you don’t mind storing it.

I also finished the Adopt Eau de Parfum Thè Blanc. I will not buy another one of this. I do like the smell, even though it is a bit simple, maybe more suitable for a younger audience than me to be honest. My main issue with it was that the scent did not last on me. Maybe just an hour or so. It was nice to do it if I just felt like refreshing myself, but not something I will run out and buy. At least I got my use out 9of it thanks to my project.

I also finished all my lip products. But I had already finished them on my last update.

The Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Bronzer is one of my fails. I was so sure I would be able to hit pan in December since I have been seeing the pattern in the tin pan through the product for a while. Annoyingly enough I think I can probably hit pan on any use now. I was considering to transfer this to my 2019 project pan, but I think I will wait and see. I need a little break from this product even though I really like it.

I did hit pan on the NARS Zen blush though. This blush I use as a bronzer because a brownish pink works nicely as a bronzing shade on me in winter.

The GloMinerals Globlush in Papaya was a real struggle. I really thought I picked a blush that would be fairly easy to pan since it#s not overly pigmented, not too hard pressed, and has only3,4 g of product. Oh, was I wrong! I can barely see some usage in the pan but I am nowhere close of getting pan. And this blush has been used 4-5 times every week for a year! I did not know panning a blush would be this hard. It made me realize that I won’t be having a blush in next years project pan. I feel like I need to get some use out of more of my blush collection and rotate a bit more instead of focusing on just one.

Lastly, all of the palettes I’ve picked out has pan in one shade (which was my goal). Off course they are mainly base shades and transition shades, but I am pretty happy about hitting pan on my first yellow eyeshadow ever! I could not imagined that a few years ago so that was extra fun.

So just to make a summare of everything that went down this year!

Empties so far:

  • Missha Signature Wrinkle Fill Up B.B Cream
  • NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer
  • Colourpop Aventurine Setting Spray
  • Colourpop Aquamarine Setting Spray
  • Origins Ginger Essence
  • Too Faced Lip Injection (shimmery beige)
  • Too Faced Lip Injection (pink transparent)
  • Korres Mango Butter Lipstick (Natural Pink)
  • Adopt Eau de Parfum Aqua Liguria.
  • Holika Holika Petit BB Cream Bouncing.
  • Holika Holika Petit BB Cream Aqua.
  • Bergamo Magic Snail BB Cream.
  • L’Oreal Glam Beige Healthy Glow Foundation.
  • L’Oreal True Match Concealer.
  • L’Oreal Shine Delicieux Lipstick.
  • Adopt Eau de Parfum Thè Blanc.
  • History of Woo Jewel Loose Powder.

  • Anastasia Modern Renaissance Eyeshadow Palette (Tempera).
  • Colourpop Yes Please (Full Zip)
  • NARS Zen blush.
  • Zoeva En Taupe Eyeshadow Palette (Hour by Hour).
  • Certifeye Tropical Wonders Palette (Sunray).

All in all I am quite happy. Except that never ending blush, and that Too Faced bronzer that I am soo soooo close to hit pan on, I managed to reach all my goals. Maybe I made it a bit easy for myself, but why make something that should be fun hard right? At least my goals of making some of my products seem more used, get some good use out of things, and finish a few base products was successful!

I will be doing another project pan for 2019 too, because this was fun! I have already picked the items, heck I started thinking about what to pick even back in October, so I will be getting on finishing that post too, and hopefully you can read all about my new project pan adventures!

Project Pan 2018 – 3rd Update!

Now, I haven’t done a proper update since June, and this will probably be the last update before I round of the project with my final post. Some parts of the project I have come a long way with, and other parts I have just lost hope. The beauty of project panning for you right there!

But we have a lot to talk about to lets get started with the update!

This was the picture of which products I had left last time. If I took a picture now it would be empty! I finished all of them! That means this part of the project is finished and I don’t have any more foundations or BB Creams to work on. So all of these are added to my list of finished products (end of post).

The L’Oreal True Match Concealer I finished this summer some time in August. I did not have the right shade so it only worked for me when I was really tan, but I am just not sure the formula of it managed to convince me. I just didn’t find that much special about it. That’s Why I will probably not repurchase.

The History of Woo Powder, the one I thought was never ending for a while actually has just a tiny bot left. I think by the mid of November this will be all gone! Which is good timing.

On the Adopt Eau de Parfum Thè Blanc you can see the progress no the bottle itself. Three marks for each update. I have to be honest and admit that I forgot about this one for a while, but now I am on it and expect to be able to finish it by the end of the year without any problem.

Now the last lipstick I had in the project, the L’Oreal Shine Delicieux Lipstick is now considered finished. I can get maybe a week or so use out of it still, but the mechanism to screw the lipstick up and down is broken and I really cant be bothered to finish this with a lip pencil. I think I can throw this in the trash with clear conscience. I got this when I was 14 years old. If you have already picked up my age you will faint. If you didn’t I am not going to tell you right now. I have cleaned it with alcohol though, and it smells and feels nice still if that helps (on a lipstick this old it kind of does not help, but hey, it’s gone now!).

Last update.

The Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Bronzer I was so sure to hit pan on now in October, but still no pan to see around here! But I can see the rings in the bottom of the pan, so it can’t be that far away. I am not sure if I will reach my goal with this though, because now that I am more pale I will switch to the NARS Zen blush as a contour since that one is also in my project and haven’t been used all summer. But I will try to pull this out from time to time, and if I hit pan on Zen sooner than anticipated I might get some little extra time to work on this. Hope is not all out, but it does not look great either.

No new picture to show on the NARS Zen blush though. This is what I had left at my 2nd update, and the case is all the same now. I haven’t used it since then. But as soon as I get started with November and my new items of the month I will have this one back in daily use. It does have a dent so I am still hopeful I can possibly hit pan in November.

Last update.
Progress, if you can tell!

This though, is my never ending Glominerals Globlush “Papaya”. Can you see a difference? (Please say yes!). I have lost hopes for this one and I am starting to plan out some final desperate strategies to get some pan on this. I was thinking about applying blush twice a day. It won’t hurt my looks. I promise, because after half a day my blush is usually worn off no matter how good it is. But can I really be bothered? Time will show.

Anyway, this is a tiny blush I have used almost every day for 10 months now! It’s only 3.4 g, Why does this last forever?

But lets get over to something more fun! Eyeshadow palettes!

Last Update!

As you can see on this Certifeye Tropical Wonders Palette I did not hit any pans yet, but I got a lot of nice dents all over the palette. It can’t be long until I hit pan in Waterfall or Sunray. I almost expect to see some silver pan every time I use this!

Last update…

The Zoeva En Taupe palette also took some damage since last time. It really can’t be long before I hit pan on Hour by Hour (Forth shade on top row). This is a lovely cool toned palette for everyday makeuplooks, and it’s in my monthly makeup bag in November which hopefully means I got some pan before the end of the month.

last update….

I had already reached my goal with the Modern Renaissance palette by Anastasia and I hit pan on Tempera. I have been using it a bit more since then, so I did get a slightly bigger pan and some more usage out of the other shades as well. But I am happy with what I’ve done with this one.

Last update…

The Colourpop Yes Please palette also got some pan showing, which means I reached my goal with this one as well. That means I have two palettes left that I am working with towards the end of this year to hit some pan on. Wish me luck!

As a summary I added the new empties to my ongoing list. The new additions from last update are in bold caption.

Empties so far:

  • Missha Signature Wrinkle Fill Up B.B Cream
  • NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer
  • Colourpop Aventurine Setting Spray
  • Colourpop Aquamarine Setting Spray
  • Origins Ginger Essence
  • Too Faced Lip Injection (shimmery beige)
  • Too Faced Lip Injection (pink transparent)
  • Korres Mango Butter Lipstick (Natural Pink)
  • Adopt Eau de Parfum Aqua Liguria.
  • Holika Holika Petit BB Cream Bouncing.
  • Holika Holika Petit BB Cream Aqua.
  • Bergamo Magic Snail BB Cream.
  • L’Oreal Glam Beige Healthy Glow Foundation.
  • L’Oreal True Match Concealer.
  • L’Oreal Shine Delicieux Lipstick.

Pans so far:

  • Anastasia Modern Renaissance Eyeshadow Palette (Tempera).
  • Colourpop Yes Please (Full Zip)

With the exception of the blush that seems never ending, and the Too Faced bronzer I expected to hit pan on already I would say i am pretty happy with the progress. Now I only got to the end of December to finish the project, and I expect to make a final summary either in the very end of December, or early January. So fingers crossed I will get some good progress until then.

I had a lot of fun panning this year. This was my first ever project pan lasting a full year. I am already thinking about what I will be working on in 2019 and I got a bunch of nice palette I plan to hit some pan on.

Do you have a yearly project pan this year? Are you going to reach your goals? Let me know!

Project Pan 2018 – 2nd Update!

This one is due time (like the last one…I am starting a trend here). But, I have some exciting updates, and I got a bit of progress to talk about now. I may even add in some new items before the year is over so the upcoming updates wont be too boring (that’s later though). If you want to read my first update you will find it here

But lets got through the products then!

These are the foundations and BB Creams I am left with now, but my guess is that there will be a lot less for next update. I find it kind of hard to show how much is left, but I know I got good use out of a lot of them and I am more than half empty with all of these I think, some of them even more!

The first picture shows the last update. I have been using the History of Woo Jewel Powder every day since I started the project and even though I feel it is never ending there is a significant decrease. I might be able to finish this one after all. The NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer I finished last time, but I still need to repurchase it (mental note to myself). The L’Oreal True Match Concealer is still unused. It is just too dark for me, and summer has been pretty bad so far (only rain).

The first line shows where I was at last update, and the second line shows where I am now. the Adopt Eau de Parfum Aqua Liguria I unfortunately dropped just after taking and it shattered. Now my office smells a lot! Project pan wise I guess that is cheating, but I promise it was not on purpose! The other one I will try my best not to break!

Some proper progress since last time! The pink Too Faced Lip Injection gloss I did finish this round , but it is hiding somewhere refusing to get photographed. The Korres Mango Butter Lipstick is also considered empty, and that means that I only got this tiny bit from the L’Oreal Shine Delicieux Lipstick and I would have finished all my project pan lippies. I plan  on adding some more but I actually want to just enjoy what I have for a little while.

An now over to my Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Bronzer, old but gold! Now there is not much point in showing the previous picture here, because my camera can’t pick up the differences, you just have to take my word fr it. I do see some progress though. I think I can see a pattern created by the rings in the tin pan that I did not see before. does that make sense? Anyway, I am happy to continue working on this because I think this is a really good shade for me right now. Maybe next time there will be a pan?

I think the dent in the NARS Zen blush got quite a bit bigger than last time. I did however put it away for summer because it would not fit the tan I never got anyway. I use this as a bronzer/contour on my winter skin in case you did not know, and it works great! It is way to pale in summer though. Except maybe this summer, because it’s been shitty so far.

This Glominerals GloBlush in the shade “Papaya” has become this projects Achilles heel. I feel I use it all of the time (4-5 times a week since February) but I see nothing! I just hope I can use this a bit more heavy handed when I get some more color too my face, but I am starting to loose my hopes of ever getting a pan on this! It is a nice blush for everyday though, so at east I like the product. However it would be nice to see some dip in the product soon!

On last update I had used the Colourpop  “Yes Please” palette once, Now I got mu self some nice dents in a few shade. The pale lid shade I hope to hit pan on now this month, but several of the shades show some good use!

It is a bit hard to photograph dents in the Anastasia Modern Renaissance palette, but I got some progress on several.  I also got a decent pan on the shades “Tempera” and that means I reached my goals for this palette, and this is the first proper pan in the project! So I am very excited about that!

Can you see any difference in this Certifeye The Tropical Wonders Palette? I am convinced I see something in real life, but on these pictures I can’t really tell. I wish I got a bit more progress than this, but I have had so many new palettes to review so just doing colorful looks and playing around with this palette is just not something I had much time to do. I hope to do better now during summer. This is the prefect palette for colorful summery looks after all!

The last palette is Zoeva En Taupe. I feel like I am sooo so close on hitting pan on three of the shades on the top row, but I felt like this for so long and the pans just won’t show! It can’t be much left though! Since this is a cool-toned palette and I don’t think I have too much left before hitting pan I am saving this until fall/early winter because I think warm tones are more flattering on my skin during summer and early fall. It should not be any problem hitting pan on this before 2018 ends though, so I feel pretty confident about this one!

So just to make a summary here is a list over empties so far! The products in bold is what I finished since last update!

Empties so far:

  • Missha Signature Wrinkle Fill Up B.B Cream
  • NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer
  • Colourpop Aventurine Setting Spray
  • Colourpop Aquamarine Setting Spray
  • Origins Ginger Essence
  • Too Faced Lip Injection (shimmery beige)
  • Too Faced Lip Injection (pink transparent)
  • Korres Mango Butter Lipstick (Natural Pink)
  • Adopt Eau de Parfum Aqua Liguria

Pans so far:

  • Anastasia Modern Renaissance Eyeshadow Palette (Tempera)

Are you working on a project pan lately? I would love to read about it so please drop me a link or tell me about it if you do. It is always fun to look at peoples progress!

Lets go through my trash again!

I am guilty of letting my empties pile grow again, and now I have some empties post to make in the near future. Todays empties you’ve probably heard of before, because a lot of them are from my project pan and now I finally get to throw away a few of them!

#32 – Colourpop Aquamarine Crystal Setting Spray: The product is OK. It gets rid of the powder face, but does not do much more. The bottle is an awful evil thing that will completly soak up your face and partly destroy the makeup you just put so much work in. I finished this by pouring it over to another spray bottle. Will absolutely not repurchase again (unless they promise to do something with that spritzer).

#33 – Colourpop Aquamarine Crystal Setting Spray: Same as above. Happy to bin these guys!

#34 – Missha Signature Wrinkle Fill Up B.B Cream: This did not really work for me. I felt like it enhanced all imperfections, and I kind of think that a BB Creams should work opposite than that. So I just used it whenever I just felt like playing around with makeup, and didn’t need a perfect base for hours, just something to even out my skintone while experimenting by myself. Will not repurchase or recommend this.

#35 – Too Faced Lip Injection Gloss (shade name unknown): Gives the lip a bit of a tingle and my mouth a bad taste. I don’t see any plumping effect and I definitely have glosses that don’t tingle in an uncomfortable way or puts a bad taste on all my beverages. Other that that it did look nice on the lips. Will not repurchase.

#36 – NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer: One of my old favorites. I really need to get myself a new one, because this is definitely a repurchase!

#37 – Origins Ginger Essence: This EDT is also a project pan empty. I really like this scent and may repurchase sometime in the future. Origins have a body lotion with the same scent which I also love.

#38 – Colourpop Lippie Stix “Lumière”: This is empty because I decided to put it in the washing machine (hence the water drops). I am so sad! I like both the lippie stix formula and this shade in particular, and will pick up a new one soon.

#39 Milani Eye Tech Extreme Liquid Eye Liner: I don’t know if this product was already too old and dry when I got it, because I have heard so many good things about this that does not match my experience. The felt tip was quite long, and therefore dried up really quickly. I found it really hard to make a proper winged-liner look because it just dried up on my. It worked along the lash line, or for more subtle looks. But when I put in the effort of wearing a liquid liner I rarely go for the barely-there look. Will not repurchase.

#40 – Haus of Gloi Pumkin Butter “Odette”: I love these punpkin butters. I have gone through countless jars and I have a small army left in my bathroom. Odette is a lovely, clean scent sun dried linens, tuberose, ginger lily and white musk. Very calming and fresh at the same time. Will for sure pick up this scent again!

#41 – Haus of Gloi Pumkin Butter “Eudemonia”: Off course, you know I love the product. I also really like the scent. This one smells of warm ginger, coconut cream, hawaiian sandalwood and a drop of blood orange. It is unique and warming without being to heavy, and the ginger gives is somewhat of a fresh twist. This one is also something I will repurchase for sure.

And that is all! Did you finish anything fun lately? I feel inspired to make another Haus of Gloi order because I need to restock on some faves!

My Project Pan 2018 Update!

My plan was to do this update around every third month, and I was due to do this at the end of March. Something weird happpend with space and time and now we are getting close to mid-April without me knowing how we got here. Time pulled a dirty trick on me…again!

Oh well, lets just talk panning then. We don’t have much pan to talk about though, because I havent seen any yet. Some eyeshadows keep teasing me. I have been so sure that “next time, I will hit that pan” for like…weeks. But we will go through it all nice and tidy.

  • Missha Signature Wrinkle Fill Up B.B Cream – This one is empty now! I did not like this so I will not repurchase. Happy to see it leave.
  • Holika Holika Petit BB Bouncing – This one does not have much left. I have to squeeze a bit extra to get some out of the tube, and by next update it will probably be gone. I find that this breaks up on my skin quite fast, and I like the other Holika Holika BB cream better.
  • Holika Holika Petit BB Aqua – This one haven’t been used too much, but it will take over as the everyday base as soon as the Bouncing one is empty, given I don’t get too tan for it. This is definately not my summer shade.
  • Bergamo Magic Snail BB Cream – Last time I describet it as having a bit weird undertone. Now that I used it a bit lately I changed my mind. I don’t think it is weird. Actually I think it is really nice at the moment. I must have been too tan last time I tried it, because I was surprised by how much I enjoy it. I was determined just to finish it. Now I am considering a repurchase. Funny how things turn.
  • L’Oreal Glam Beige Healty Glow Foundation – This one is still waiting for summer. Same as me. Haven’t used it at all.

  • History of Woo Jewel Powder – This is the amount I have left. I used it almost every day since the project started but it feels never ending. I don’t really feel I need that much either so progress is a bit slow. Should still be possible though since I use it every day.
  • L’Oreal Perfect Match Concealer – Not too much left of this, but it is too dark. I will wait for my skin to tan, and put it in my everyday makeupbag. Expect to see it empty withing a month or so. Again, I am just waiting for that tan!
  • NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer – This one is empty! And I need to repurchase.

The Colourpop Aquamarine and Aventurine Setting Sprays are both empty. I hate the spray on these. It does not spray, it spits droplets on your face and ruins the makeup. Maybe I am just dramatic here, but my arms are not long enoght to keep them far away so it won’t make a mess out of my makeup. I know I am a short person with short arms but still, this spray is awful! I poured it over to another bottle, and I was much more happy with it. So they both dissappeared fairly quick. Won’t repurchase these…..ever…..unless they get a new spritzer.

  • Origins Ginger Essence – Empty! Like the scent. Like ginger candy. Maybe I will get a new one, in the future.
  • Adopt Eau de Parfum Aqua Liguria – I put a mark how far I got the product now. I did not do that when I introduced the project. Remember, I am an unexperienced panner and I don’t think of all these neat tricks. Now you can see where we are at.
  • Adopt Eau de Parfum Thé Blanc – I used this a bit more. I like it a bit more too.

This picture is my lippies from my introduction of the project.

This is where we are now!

  • L’Oreal Shine Delicieux Lipstick in shade 130 – I got maybe a bit less than halfway through what I had to begin with. I need to focus on this one the next weeks because as soon as I get a bit tanned this will be too pale and I have to wait to finish it. Being tan is a constant issue here, either one way or the other!
  • Too Faced Lip Injection – A bit of progress here as well. Still some work to do though.
  • Too Faced Lip Injection – I know it does not look like it but this is empty. Can’t get more out of the tube. First lippe panned, three to go!
  • Korres Mango Butter Lipstick – Some visible progress here too! I really like this one. I wonder if I should pick up a new one after this project. It is so comfy.

My Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Bronzer does not show much wear. I will start using it in my everyday makeup bag as soon as the NARS Zen is too light and hope to see some progress then. I am starting to think this may not be the easist thing to pan.

NARS Zen however does show some wear, and has a decent dent now. I expect it to still be quite some time before I hit pan, but at least there is visible progress.

Glominerals Papaya Blush have been used 3-5 times every single week since January. I think (but I am not sure) that I can see a tiny bit of change, but it is too little to show up on camera. I am not sure if I will be able to pan this. It is quite pigmented, and not very loosely pressed so progress is a bit slow on this one.

And the final and exciting part: The eyeshadow palettes!

Lets start with Colourpop Yes Please! Did not use it once. Plan on putting it in my May makeup bag.

I did however get some work done on Anastasia Modern Renaissance. I had it in my monthly makeup bag throughout March, and halfway expected to hit pan on Tempera which I used every day. But no. I also did some makeuplooks to put in a makeup look post and surely expected to hit pan on Tempera which I used to set my base for every look. Bud no. Still some work left to do then, but I still expect to hit pan on Tempera every time!

Boy, The Certifeye The Tropical Wonders Palette is so much fun! I got some good use out of every shade, and some decent dents in some of them. Still got plenty of fun looks to create with this before I see some real damage. But the prosess is very enjoyable with this one.

I am getting soooo close on this one too. The Zoeva En Taupe palette have three shades with some nice denting action. Hopefully we will have some nice pans to look at by next update!

Empties so far:

  • Missha Signature Wrinkle Fill Up B.B Cream
  • NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer
  • Colourpop Aventurine Setting Spray
  • Colourpop Aquamarine Setting Spray
  • Origins Ginger Essence
  • Too Faced Lip Injection (shimmery beige)

6 products emptied so far, nothing panned. Not too bad I guess. I will just keep working on it and see how it goes by next update. I hope to see some eyeshadow pans and at least one more lipstick emptie. Wish me luck!

Project pan 2018!

Very excited about this post, because I will be presenting to you my project pan for 2018. I have a nice mixture of projects here. Some of them are a bit old and I would like to get them out of my collection before they go bad. Some projects are just not my favorites that I tend to forget about and I just want to finish them so they don’t take up space in my drawer. Other projects are products that I really love and want to get a lot of use out of!

I have two different groups in my projects. One group are of products I would like to use up and get out of my collection. The other group are just projects I want to hit pan on just to be able to see some useage, but I have no intention of finishing them because I want to have them in my collection.

So lets talk about the stuff I want to completely finish first!

I got 5 different foundations/bb-creams.

  • Missha Signature Wrinkle Fill Up B.B Cream – This BB cream I really dont like and I just want to get rid of it. I mainly use this when I create makeuplooks where I only take a picture of my eyes. Then it does not really matter if the foundation is my favorite or not, because it just needs to even out and cover a bit and I don’t have to wear it all day. So when I am playing around with makeup just to be creative and not necessarily to wear it all day, than this is the one I will use.
  • Holika Holika Petit BB Bouncing – Good BB Cream but it is half empty and I would like to finish it.
  • Holika Holika Petit BB Aqua – Same series as above, but a bit different finish. This is also half empty and I want to finish it, but I think I will repurchase this when it is gone.
  • Bergamo Magic Snail BB Cream – This has a bit weird undertone for me, and I think it takes too long for it to sink into the skin. I will try to finish it the same way as the one from Missha.
  • L’Oreal Glam Beige Healty Glow Foundation – Light coverage foundation that is a nice color fit when I am tanned. So I will try to use this during summer and fall when my skin is darker.

Moving on to concealer and powder. The powder is HUUUUGE so I only picked one and I am not even sure I will be able to finish it so I may have been a bit optimistic here.

  • History of Woo Jewel Powder – This is 28 g of loose powder. It is a nice powder but the container takes up as much space as 4-6 other compact so it is just too big to store. The packaging is beautiful though, but I would have to find a more practical way to store it if I should consider repurchasing.
  • L’Oreal Perfect Match Concealer – This is ok, I will finish but not repurchase.
  • NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer – I love this, but it is actually 4 years old and I need to finish it! I will absolutely get a new one.

A few things I don’t like. The Colourpop Aquamarine and Aventurine Crystal Setting Sprays. I will use these to wet my brushes. Since the pump is so waist-full I am sure that will be enough usage to finish both way before the year has passed.

A few nicely scentet projects are included as well!

  • Origins Ginger Essence – Lovely scent but I just have a little bit left and would like to give it that little bit of extra attention to finish the last bit.
  • Adopt Eau de Parfum Aqua Liguria – Nice refreshing but very simple scent. I like the scent but it lasts just a very short time. Nice to use just as a refresher.
  • Adopt Eau de Parfum Thé Blanc – Same as above.

And now some lip products!

  • L’Oreal Shine Delicieux Lipstick in shade 130 – This is so old! (Don’t worry I do disinfect my makeup from time to time and it seems just fine). I am over half way through and it gives a nice subtle pink sheen to the lips, but it is too old and it is time to finish it.
  • Korres Mango Butter Lipstick – Nice, creamy sheer finish lipstick with nourishing properties and SPF 10. I like it, but it is half empty so I would like to complete it. The shade is a nice neutral pink and perfect for everyday.
  • Too Faced Lip Injection – It doesn’t have a name written on it but it is a transparent pink. I have about 2/3 left of it.
  • Too Faced Lip Injection – This one does not have a shade name either but it is a champagne with a nice shine. Also this has 2/3 left.

If I finish all products in any of the categories above I will pick up a new project from my collection. This is my first big panning project so I am not sure how fast I will be able to finish a category, or maybe I won’t be able to at all! I will make update post around every 3 months so if I add any product I will let you know!

Then I have two categories where I want to hit pan but don’t want to finish the product. I picked a few things I really like and I feel is realistic. So I am excited to see if I will be able to hit pan. I have never ever hit pan on a blush or a bronzer so I hope to manage to do that through 2018!

  • Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Bronzer – Yes, it is in the old packaging meaning it is really old. But pressed powders are easy to disinfect so I don’t see a problem with that unless the smell or quality of the product changes. This one still smells like delicious chocolate. I have used it quite a bit but it barely shows so I am not sure if I will manage to hit pan, but I will give it a go.
  • NARS blush Zen – Beautiful neutral blush that can also be used for contour when I am pale. So this is a multi usage product. It does show a bit of wear but there is not really any dent in the product yet.
  • Glominerals Papaya blush – This is a nice everyday blush with a beautiful easy-to-use formula. This one has been used a bit but there is no dent in this one either.

I am excited to see if I will be able to pan any of these!

Finally my favorite category; eyeshadowpalettes! My goal is to hit pan in at least one shade in each palette.

  • Certifeye The Tropical Wonders Palette – I love to get creative with all these stunning matte brights in here and I am pretty sure I will reach for this palette all the time even though it is not exactly work-friendly for me. I am sure to get tons on use out of it, and it is so so pretty!
  • Colourpop “Yea, Please” Palette – I think Coloupop palettes are fairly easy to hit pan on so I think this one will be easy. It will definately be in my everyday makeup bag aswell since there are so many easy to use shades.
  • Anastasia Modern Renaissance – I bought it this fall and I really like it, but I havent used it so much since I have been kind of drowning in new eyeshadow palettes lately. I think it is time this palette gets the attention it deserves! I also would like to make a blogpost featuring several different makeuplooks with this (as I did with the Jacklyn Hill X Morphe palette) just because so many of you own this and may find it useful.
  • Zoeva En Taupe – I added this because I love Zoeva shadows and I think it’s about time that cool toned shadows get a bit more attention. We had that way-too-warm trend going on for a while and I think it will be nice to pay some extra attentions to cool tones as well this year.

And that is all my projects for 2018. Do you have any project pans you are writing about on your blog? I would love a link of your blog post in the comments if you do!
