I am quite happy with how versatile this palette is considering it’s only 9 shades. So I was quite happy with that. All the details will off course be in my review this upcoming Wednesday.

And for those of you who do not follow me on Instagram, I am sorry my uploading schedule has been so off. I was in an accident almost two weeks ago, and I had a hard time managing to do much at all. I am progressing now, and even though I am on sick leave untill at least 16th September I hope I will manage to sit with my computer on my lap and do some writing for short moments of the time, and take some photos. So I think my blog should be on it’s regular uploading schedule from now on. Thank you for your patience! As usual, Colourpop eyeshadows work really well for me. And I think it’s kind of cool that they did something so summery for their Holiday collection. I tend to find that Colourpop enjoys some irony from time to time.

I know I haven’t been able to post for a while. Kitchen renovation took all the spare time I had despite having a holiday and time to work on it all day. We are still not done. but at least the walls, floors and roof is done. Now I can’t wait to do some cooking in the new kitchen (and I am not really that interested in cooking even).

Have you noticed how much the makeup industry have changed lately? 5-10 years ago the market was completely dominated by neutral palettes (with the occasional colourful one from Urban Decay, (I am thinking book of shadows style of palettes if you can remember those). Now every other brand, also mainstream brands seem to have caught up on the colorful trend and I am loving it. Especially the amount of green and blue palettes we have seen the last way. Anyway, thats a very long intro just to mention that I am so happy Colourpop has released an all green palette.

As per usual I won’t go to much about how I like the palette, that will be saved for the full review on Wednesday. I did really really have fun playing arund with some gorgeous greens though. And I can’t wait to see what more monochromatic palettes Colourpop come up with. In my opinion this one is mainly cool-toned and they could easily make another warm-tones green palette.

What about you, are you missing any colors now, or do you think they have released all they can now? I guess orange will be next. And I doubt Colourpop will ever be done releasing anything.

Despite hearing a lot of mixed reviews about this palette (will be discussed further in the review on Wednesday) but I really had so much fun working with this palette. Now I do have a love for working with colors so when the shadows are of nice quality playing with colorful eyeshadows is always a blast. Some of the shades were not perfection but again I will chat about that in my review, so stay tuned for that!

The purple version of Colourpops monochromatic 9-pan series. And I have to say, this looks so incredibly more beautiful in real life than on their website. What happened to this palette? It was on Colourpops website for a short moment, got sold out in a very short time (as well as the Sweet Nothings palette) and they never came back. Horribly annoying because I never got my hands on Sweet Nothings, so I keep waiting and hoping it will return (together with this one). It is still possible to get a hold of both of them though, and I hope they will return to the CP website, so I am putting out a review even though you can’t get it directly from CP’s webite any more.

Hope you enjoyed the looks. Even though they are not the most colorful, I do appreciate neutral tones as well. And the blue shades in the palette are really pretty!

What is your favorite eyeshadow palette by BH Cosmetics. For me the Weekend Festival palette was a real eye opener to be, showing me how good BH Cosmetics can actually make eyeshadows. Without trying and loving Weekend Festival I probably would not pick up this.
