Tarina Tarantino Blushes – Review!

This is one of my unknown hidden treasures in my collection. For those of you who are familiar with Tarina Tarantino might know her better for her loud hair and jewellery line, but she also has a small selection of makeup products. I own a few of them, among them three blushers!

First of all, the packaging is a piece of jewellery on its own! They feel heavy and look almost like small art pieces. I got three shades. Parasol, Feather and Carved Rose. All of these three are also a part of a blush palette (which is currently on sale at her website), but at the moment they are not available as singles directly from her site. I don’t know if they are being discontinued or not, but there are plenty of them on Ebay and I don’t really think you will find any fakes as this brand is not known for their makeup. This is just as much an art piece as a makeup item so I would recommend this for any makeup collector out there.

The formula is very easy to work with. It’s pigmented enough, but not to the extreme so you have to be too careful. It’s just enough to give you a nice flush of color. It applies really easy and evenly. Just a very simple blush to use!

Feather, Parasol and Carved Rose.

I had these blushes for several years and they have been among my favorite ones for very long. That’s why I felt I needed to share these beauties in case they disappear for good.

Do you have any hidden gems in your collection? Something that no one talks about but you really love?

XOXO

Oh my heart definitely has a soft spot for gorgeous blushes like those. They look really pretty. And it is true, I never really heard of those. The packaging also looks really gorgeous indeed. I love a good packagaing on a blush. Somehow makes it feel so chic, since blushes are those kind of makeup you can already imagine a lady from 150 year ago dusting on for a dinner. So if they are in those nice little packagings it has something royal šŸ™‚

    1. Blush is such a classic makeup item. Timeless! šŸ˜€ I sadly think they are phasing out their makeup, probably because noone has ever heard of them. I think it’s a bit Sad because I like the quality and I have some palettes with packaging worthy of being a jewellry box, maybe not a coincidence since the brand is primarily making jewellry. These blushes are collection items for me, and I will keep them forever šŸ˜Š
