10 Fall Makeup Looks!

I love the colors of fall. Not only the beautiful color display nature puts on, but I love those typical fall makeup looks as well. I love the colors. The deep greens, warm rich browns, burgundy and oranges that I associate with fall-time makeup looks. I also love the deeper lipsticks, the rich perfumes. And lets not forget a big steaming cup of tea next to the fireplace. Fall is just wonderful. I think all seasons have so much good to them, and there is always something I love about each season. It’s something special about all the beautiful colors, the days getting colder and the air more crisp! What is your favorite season? I can’t pick one, but fall is for sure one of my top four.

So I picked out a few palettes that I think are really nice for fall and played around with them. Some of these I haven’t used in a long time and I had so much fun playing with these “old” palettes. I really enjoy to get some good use out of palettes that are not brand new. I seem to drown a bit in new palettes that I constantly test out to review so it’s so nice to change things up a bit and use some of the palettes that’s been just hanging around in my drawers for a while.

Dark greens are proper fall eyeshadows colors I think. So I wanted to use the pretty greens in the Jaclyn Hill X Morphe palette. I haven’t used this since last year sometime, and I had actually forgotten how great it is! I am considering putting this palette in next years project pan to get some proper use out of it because it truly is so versatile and has great quality. The duochrome shift in the eyeshdow is not thanks to the Jaclyn Hill palette though, but a little gem form H&M beauty. Their liquid shadow in “Wood Nymph” is a bit to sheer to use on its own, but as an eyeshadow topper I think it really gives the look a nice dimension, and the orange sheen helps with the fall vibes I think. I need to use this shadow more often!

If I had to pick out the ultimate fall palette I would not have to think twice. Off course that has to be Subculture by Anastasia, which I actually happen to like very much! The color scheme is just perfect for fall. To amp up the look I used Colourpops Supernova Shadow in the shade “Dragon”. I have picked out quite a few of these supernova shadows but I never use them, so I want to try to incorporate them into looks a bit more. I think it did well this time.

The Androgyny palette by Jeffree Star Cosmetics is not a bad fall palette either. I used a black eyeshadow from the Certifeye palette to make the look really dark, but all the other shades are from the Androgyny palette.

If I want a really nice purple palette the Lila palette by Natasha Denona is my choice. It actually does not have that many purple shades, but it’s still really pretty for fall. I also really need to use this a bit more especially considering how much it costs! But the quality makes me really happy!

A good and cheap palette for fall must be Makeup Revolution Life On The Dance Floor “Guest List”. I was under the impression this was their limited edition release for Christmas last year, but they still got it so I guess it became a part of their permanent collection. I am not mad at that because the palette is very pretty both inside and out, and with a whole bunch of warm browns and oranges perfect for fall.

The Perception palette by Colourpop is like a mini version of Urban Decay Born To Run, and the main reason why I didn’t pick up Born To Run so far /even though I want to because of the stunning packaging!). A bunch of warm mattes and a nice selection of darker jewel tones makes this very fall appropriate.

While I was digging into my collection for fall themed palette I stumbled upon this old Kiko Colour Impact Eyeshadow Palette 01 Lounge Warm Tones. Unfortunately this was limited edition but I decided to do a simple fall look with it either way because the shadows are so easy to dupe. All you need is a matte burgundy, a dark matte brown and a cool-tones shimmery brown and you can easily get this look. I like using old palettes so forgive me for pulling out a limited edition palette.

I decided also to try out a different technique that I’ve never tried before. I wanted to add some fall leaves to a look so these guys were drawn on a paper and cut out before using lash glue to attach them to my eyes.

    1. Thank you so much! 😍 You are always so kind and it’s so so much appreciated ❀️ And I think espescially with a larger collection it’s a lot of fun to go treasure hunting in the drawers and use some stuff that haven’t seen day light in a while πŸ˜…
