I really think it is fun to keep a sort of variety in the looks I do. I don’t want to be an halo eye expert, or the known for a certain kind of cut-create. I want to play around with different styles and techniques and hopefully learn to be better at all of them. The funniest looks are when I decide to put down all those palettes I am trying to review and rather play around with something creative.
Sometimes it goes terribly wrong and I have to wipe it all of. And other times I end up with something a am able to share. Like this look.
- Certifeye The Tropical Wonders Palette – Watarfall, Sunray, Toucan, Red Sea, Equator, Honeycreeper, Atlantic, Bonobo.
- Kiko Kajal Khôl Pencil – 109.
- Revolution Pro Supreme Dip Liner – White.
- Makeupgeek Gel Eyeliner – Immortal.
- Anastasia Dipbrow Pomade – Medium Brown.
- Zoeva Brow Spectrum – Bro10, Bro30.
- L’Oreal Mega Volume Miss Hippie.
- Ardell Flawless Lashes – 804.
My plan was initially to make something soap bubble inspired, and that’s what I started trying to create with the four spheres. I was not really happy with the looks of them, so I just started adding some shapes in addition. Sometimes thing don’t turn out as planned, so you just have to wing it.
As always when I want to play with color I reached for the Certifeye Tropical Wonders palette. It’s my absolute go-to when I want to play with colors and it’s sooo good! Have you tried it?
Also, remember that you can find me on Bloglovin or Instagram if you want to stay updated.
XOXO

The Tropical Wonders Palette is also one of my absolute favourite coulourful palettes. It is just the perfect one to start of any colourful look. You do great looks with this onde. Already liked you chandelier look with the Tropical wonders, but this one is also absolutely beautiful. How long did it take you to become that good?

Thank you so much, you are always so sweet 🤗 ❤️ I think what really helped me getting better was instagram and this blog. It just gives me an exchuse to play around with makeup and be a bit more creative than just applying my regular makeup for every day. But you wont have to scroll down very far on my IG feed to see a difference so it’s a constant progress. I hope to one day be as good as all the wonderful creators I see all the time on IG, but the skill leve of some of them are insane, so I can only hope and keep practicing. I would say when I started my IG two years ago my skills was like a normal persons average at best 😅

I guess practise is always king. Well for me you are one of those creators with insane skills. So I hope my progress will bring me in 2 years where you are now as well. Fingers crossed 😀 Are you thinking of maybe making a post about tipps and tricks you learned that you never would have known if you weren’t on social media with it?

You are way to generous ❤️ Your skills now are far beyond what I could do two years ago, so I am sure you will be much better! And that blog post idea is fantastic! I really have to think about that 😊

Love it! I seriously want to try more artistic looks too but it seems I never have time lol. Anyway, I wanted to ask how you got the certifeye palette? I saw it was a UK brand (unless I’m wrong) but I’ve been seriously interested in getting a few lol

Time is a problem for sure ☺️ I got it from their website. Not sure if they sell them in store anywhere ☺️
