Anastasia Subculture – 8 Different Makeup Looks!

The oh so famous palette with the gorgeous fall color scheme. I had to play around with it and makeup up my mind about it. The colors are so gorgeous, so I was really crossing my fingers hoping the palette would work for me.

So here are the selection of looks, and as always I’ve listed all the products and colors I used under each picture.

Short version is, that you can probably tell, that it did work for me. I would not be bothered to make 8 different looks with a palette I didn’t enjoy working with. As usual there will be a separate palette review coming soon. Have you tried this palette? Did you make it work or was it a miss?

XOXO

Mufavorites!

Those look amazing. You have so much talent! I think number 3 is my favourite, because I love blue eyeshadow, but the last one is also truly outstanding. I always hestitate to buy this palette because of its very bad reviews – at least on the channels/blogs that I am watching/reading. So I am very curious about your verdict on it. But I think if those looks can be created with it, it cannot be that bad πŸ˜€ Would be interesting to know in the review if you think eyelook beginners like myself would be able to work with it the same way as pros like you. Or if it is a palette that requires some training regarding the eyeshadow application in general.

    1. Thank you so so much, that really means a lot to hear you say ☺️ ❀️ I like the palette, but I can see why not everyone does. The thing is just that very pigmented and dark eyeshadows do require some work even though they are good eyeshadows. I don’t really think the formula is very different from what we see in MR, at least not in my palette, but the shades are so dark and therefore behave a bit different. I think anyone who is able to blend with a light hand will make this work. Regardless of being a beginner or having experience. It may take some time to get used to the palette though. But I did really like it and didn’t have any problems. I do think though that there were some bad palettes in the first release and I May have been more lucky since I waited for so long ?

  2. You created some beautiful looks. I think this palette was so hit and miss some people got some great palettes and some got some really bad one.

I loved the colours from this palette but i have to admit I’m hesitant to purchase incase it doesn’t work for me since it costs so much.

I can’t wait to read your full review.

    1. I think there must have been quite a variety of quality at least in the beginning since people had so strong and different opinions about it. And I know exactly what you mean. I waited for quite a while before I purchased mine and I was lucky enough to pick it up on sale because spending 42$ on a bad palette is such a bummer. I am really happy I picked it up though. And the full review will be up tomorrow 😊
