Looking at my fairly new additions to my inglot collection I realized I had the same kind of shades but with different colors. To make more sense out of it, I had one light matte green, one light matte blue, one dark matte green, one dark matte blue, one dark jewel toned shimmery green and the same thing just as a blue shade. The picture probably makes more sense out of it than my rambling does.
So I figured I would to the exact same look on both eyes, just with different colors. So my left eye had all the green shades and the right had all the blue. The rest of the products used where identical and I tried to the best of my abilities to keep the look similar.

I had fun playing around with those blue and green Inglot shades. I find the pigmentation to be medium but buildable. So they are quite user friendly in the way that you build them up little by little and don’t get full impact at once that can be a bit troublesome to blend out. These are more slow-and-steady-wins-the -race kind of shades. I don’t mind very pigmented eyeshadows myself, but these medium-but-buildable ones are not bad either. I just need to apply a bit differently that what I am used to with my very pigmented shades.
One of the impressing things about these shades are that they are not dusty or with kickback at all. They are much more firmly pressed than lets say Tarte, Lorac, Anastasia, Colourpop etc. I don’t mind softer shades, but these more firm ones are much less waist full, and the amount of fallout was pretty low especially considered I used dark matte blue and green.
In other words. These are good shadows, but the formula is a bit different than what I am used to. Not different in a bad way, just different.
So, in the end. What color did you prefer? Blue or green? I am personally leaning towards the green here, but I would love to hear what you thing as well.
XOXO
Mufavorites!
I love the green but the two colors as combo won’t be bad… Lovely

Blue is totally underrated! I am still pissed about Tartes aprils fool fake release. I would have bought that palette in a heartbeat! I have actually been waiting for a brand to release something like that for years. Apparently blue and greens are more joke appropiate 😅
