Since February sadly is over (It’s my birthday month) I also have accumulated some favorite products to shade with you! As usual that makes me very excited because when I know about something really great, I want all you lovely readers to know it too!
Tarte Tartelette Toasted: This have been such a great companion lately. This has been my absolute go-to for weekends and I’ve done anything from dark smoky eyes. cut-creases and very natural looks. All with the warm delicious tones the Toasted palette can offer. I even managed to wear off some of the Tarte imprints in the most used shadows. I didn’t even get around to swatch or make a review of this palette for you yet, but I am sure I will because I have been loving this lately!
Becca Apres Skis Face Palette: This one has a bit of everything. Blush, highlighter and bronzer. I have been using all shades over and over again except the one dark bronze highlight that just does not work for my skin-tone right now (maybe in summer). At first I thought that maybe the bronzer would be too shimmery, but the finish on the skin is just glowing and beautiful, as you can tell it is even the most used product in the palette!
So great having a palette that holds a bunch of the face products I need all in one, and I actually do love the highlighters (hello Opal), blushes and bronzer all together. And the packaging is a piece of work too! Stunning palette from head to toe.
Essence Pure Nude Highlight: I love love love LOVE this! The perfect subtle glowing goddess kind of product. Can be built up as a highlighter on the cheeks, but it can also be used with a bigger brush and used with a light hand all over the face for the most amazing glow-from-within-I-just-happen-to-be-perfect-skin. And who does not want that!
Bareminerals Stroke Of Light Concealer: To be honest I didn’t think I would like this to begin with. I though it would be too natural and give too little coverage. And it does give little coverage. This is not the concealer for you if you want heavy duty coverage. But it brightens the skin so beautifully. It just lifts and give life to your under eye area a way that a concealer with coverage could never do. Since I don’t have that dark under-eyes and not much to cover anyway, this is so beautiful and just makes me look younger! Your girl here just turned 31, I need all the help I can get looking younger, so this is a win for me!
Emma S Enzyme Peel: Don’t you just love rediscovering old favorites you used to use years ago, and when you start using them again you just really can’t understand how you ever stopped because the product is so fantastic? That’s where me and Emma S are right now! This is an peel with AHA- and BHA-acids that removes dead skin cells, dissolves blackheads and leaves your skin glowing and fresh. This stuff really works, and it only takes a moment to do the treatment. By the time you are done shampooing your hair, the peel is done as well and you just rinse it off. Skincare that works on speed!
Lastly I adore these two lippies from Colourpop and Kathleen Lights most recent collection. Moon Child is such a beautiful nude gloss with fine glitter, and Dreamy is the most gorgeous terracotta nude satin lip. Both perfect for everyday wear, and works with almost any look.
I am also happy to realize that I didn’t have any misses to talk about this month, simply because I didn’t find anything new that doesn’t work. And thats always good news!
What are your favorites for February?
XOXO

Thank you so much 💕 I am actually working on a few looks with the Toasted palette right now to properly prepare for the review. I just got the Double Entendre from Colourpop though, and they are strikingly similar so there may be an upcoming dupe pust as well 😊

I love the essence highlighter! I’m also going back and forth on if I can truly do a favourites this month, all I have been doing is testing new products so I don’t think calling them a favourite is fair if I can’t say it with some longevity behind it!

I find it hard picking favorites if I have been testing too much as well. I mean you get an idea if you like the product, but it’s not really a favorite to me unless I’ve used it a lot 😊

Exactly. Plus feb is short so I don’t have enough time to decide lol

Haha! Yes, that is a valid excuse too. Just impossible to get anything done in February 🤣

I’ve been loving the NYX Born To Glow highlighter palette – it’s soooo gorgeous! Also for lippies I’ve ‘rediscovered’ the Colourpop Blotted Lip in Ice Cube. 🙂

Born to glow is that one of the new ones? I also really love the blotted lip formula, but I haven’t used them for a while. Thanks for the reminder! 😊
